I am a compassionate and spiritually aware man who has committed my life to applying my skills and experience to enlarge and enhance the quality of life for all concerned.

My degree in computer science equips me to understand the limitations as well as the benefits of modern computer systems. I bring over 33 years’ experience and pragmatism to my business, as well as 17 years’ experience in marketing and promotion.

I have several years’ experience as a former volunteer with Samaritans in south London, was a member of the Central Council and held several other voluntary offices with the national charity Toc H. I have assisted on personal effectiveness trainings with two international training organisations and have been a trustee and director of an inner London homelessness charity. Currently I serve as a parish councillor and am clerk to two neighbouring parish councils, as well as being involved in other local organisations.

I have written several articles on a variety of management issues and a guide to computer security. For further information on my career, please refer to my CV.

For recreation, I enjoy music of many kinds, and am particularly interested in British and Irish folk music. I am a keen, if not especially accomplished, musician and play the 12-string and 6-string guitars, melodeon and Appalachian dulcimer. I am also a keen local and family historian, am a committee member of the Hertford and Ware Local History Society and have produced a family research names list. For ten years I ran a small farm as a hobby with my then partner, Rosemarie, and have written about my experiences in a book entitled A Farm of Our Own. I am also the author of three other books: Enlightenment for Beginners, Hoo, Howe, Ware Wye and Wem and What a Liberty! as well as a guide to self-publishing.
