synopsis
This book is possibly the spiritual equivalent of several major scientific discoveries being made simultaneously; it includes so much new material from spirit. The information has been channelled to coincide with a new two thousand year spiritual cycle of the planet.
Why come back? explains the purpose of the many incarnations of the soul. It describes, in greater detail than has ever been previously published, the nature of spirit, the connection with God (or the Collective, Higher Power, Great Spirit, or whatever preferred description), and the nature of the spiritual journey.
The book describes what life-plans are, how they are formulated, what goes into them, how they are the yardstick or benchmark for the life-review on return to spirit. It describes in detail what is “spiritual growth”, the objective of the life-plans, which ultimately is to experience the multi-faceted nature of love, whose meaning is far more encompassing than the romantic use of the word.
In short, the book explains the meaning of life from a spiritual perspective. It explains how everything has spirit as its primary cause, contrary to man’s attributing events to karma, fate, a punishing God, or the inexplicable. For those who have undergone trauma in various forms, the book explains the spiritual reasoning behind the experiences. In this way, it can give some meaning and comfort where otherwise there might have been none. Indeed, the book should help the reader find inner peace.
The book also explains who spirit guides are, how spirit communication takes place, the afterlife, who greets one on return to spirit, time in spirit and the universe. The author’s unique contribution to greater spiritual information is the concept of “the three”. Each one of us is part of a spiritual three. Knowledge of the existence of the spiritual three is fundamental to learning about spirit.

about the author
Upon meeting a new partner in January 2000 (the timing no accident), Roger has found his spiritual abilities have really accelerated. He has found through his partner Angela, that he can access the equivalent of a “Cosmic Encyclopaedia”. Any question he could ask, provided it was not of a directly personal bent, has been answered by spirit; the answer being sometimes a few lines, sometimes pages.
Roger asked the questions that have always dogged him – the meaning of life, why people behave as they do, why life is so painful at times.
Having previously discovered reincarnation, Roger’s next question was why. Hence the title of the book, “Why Come Back?” in which he puts into narrative form the many questions he put to spirit and the answers he received.
Until his spiritual awakening, Roger had a conventional life of marriage, children, a professional occupation and a university degree. Quite normal, until that is, at age forty-eight, he was told by spirit, “You are going to write a book.”
His expertise or authority to do this is no different to any other persons, as we are all spiritual beings. We are all equal and have full knowledge when in our natural spirit state. The difference is only one of ability to have spirit communication at a time when spirit is wishing to impart new knowledge.
The recognition of his destiny and the life-changing experience of receiving the spiritual teachings, has given rise to Roger selling his business and home. He now offers workshops and forums for spiritual matters on board his converted Scottish fishing boat, ‘Quiet Waters’.
