about the author

Born on Christmas Day and raised in a fashionable area of the North Shore in Sydney, Australia, Joelle Lewis enjoyed an expensive private education and a childhood exploring in the bushy National Park, which was her front yard. However, this all ended with the divorce of her parents. Further potholes in the road of her life have included a water skiing accident which resulted in two spinal fractures, three operations for cancer, a series of relationships and breakups including two Court cases, several career changes, financial ruin, and life as a single parent. What Joelle learned enabled her to help herself and her friends through difficult periods of their lives. She hopes it will do the same for others. Joelle believes in fully experiencing Life, with all its highs and lows. She still believes Life is wonderful and loves Life fiercely enough to fight for it even against what at the time appeared to be overwhelming odds.
